Supposedly it's Spring here...

Well, apparently it is Spring, but definitely not by Texas standards!  I am jealous of those enjoying flip-flop weather!

Last weekend we went on a brewery tour at Oskaa Blues about 45 minutes away.  Not a bad drive until you have to repeat it by yourself to recover your husband's forgotten phone, but that's another story;)

We've also been eating lots of delicious food.  The only one I got pictures of was our braised short ribs and polenta.  Delicious!

We also had some delicious chicken enchiladas (although they are rather spicy) and the most delicious strawberry-rhubarb pie. I was quite proud of my pie, and it was promptly devoured.  Jacob thought I was crazy when he caught me eating it for breakfast, but he also quickly came around.

Tonight we are going to go see Ironman 2!  I hope it is as good as the first one:)

Once we finally get our media stand delivered, there will be a fabulous photo tour of Casa de Clifton!

Happy Friday everyone:)

What I've Learned About Denver Thus Far...

1.  All grocery stores excluding Whole Foods are slightly ghetto.
2.  At any given moment of any weekday, the city is filled with people enjoying baseball games, bicycle rides, etc.  Apparently no one has to work here.
3.  It can be 80 degrees one afternoon and snow the next morning.  It will also snow in late April and into early May.  This will occur multiple times.
4.  No one here cares about pro basketball.  This means that even during playoffs there will be empty seats and almost-free tickets available.
5.  The Denver Nuggets' mascot is amazing!  Seriously, my favorite part of the games.
6.  There are marijuana dispensaries all over the place.
7. Denver is the first American city to have a bike share program.  We haven't tried it yet, but it looks promising!
8. The roads here are awful.  The temperate fluctuation and the fact that construction can really only be accomplished in the summer does not make driving very fun.
9. We have heard one place that sells Blue Bell in the city.  We will be visiting said place very soon!
10. I like Denver, but I need warmer weather!

Jacob and I celebrated our one-month anniversary last week.  He got me these lovely flowers to celebrate!

I promise tons of good recipes and a tour of our apartment soon!
